At Wymondham Baptist Church we believe that God’s church is the people, not the building.
At our Queen Street location in an ancient Norfolk market town, a group of worshippers meets every Sunday morning, but same as God’s love extends beyond walls and service hours, our outreach to the community is happening every day.
We run a youth group and a number of home groups. We go into care homes, and share our spacious hall with community groups for first aid training, choir rehearsals, and musical performances. We work closely with the Town Team to bring Wymondham some of its most popular annual events, including Vintage Day and Wynterfest.
From our beginnings in a building on to the present day, our members live, work, go to school and shop here. So you’re probably never very far from one of us – at Wymondham Baptist Church you will be welcome, because we are people you know.
Breaking news: Wymondham Baptist to open Roots Community Café!
Through the years we have got to know people and their families, and we are aware that sometimes people just need a place to go during the day. We’re delighted to announce that on 11 September we will launch Roots Community Café, where members of our fellowship will serve teas, coffees and cakes, and be available for a conversation.
